Heidi, yes, I see you did love that prompt, and you made magic of it. I'm partial to the collage art and the poem for ESS 3rd grade. That section of "North and forth" "south to the mouth" etc. is just amazing! I've read it aloud three times so far. Just love it. All the best to you on your new adventure, Heidi!

oooooooh, this post is a whole experience. I love the map poem from the backseat POV. Oh, my goodness--how did you know so many of my thoughts as a youngster? I had a whole running commentary in my head in the backseat. Your collab with Claude cracks me up...a poem? Maybe so, maybe so. I'm still fueled by the creative charge from our weekend. What a treat!
Such adventures we had together and so many lie before us! I'm excited to share in your Brighton-based wanderings as you create your own map to navigate this new course. Your trio of poems is lovely.
